2020, was a year, wasn't it? If you're getting this box of cookies, know you hold a place in my heart. I know I'm not the most social person and I have trouble keeping in touch, but 2020 made it even easier to be a recluse and withdraw. I hope we'll be able to see each other (and eat together ) again soon. Here's to a better 2021.
Sorry for the generic message. I was going to write individual cards but I already delayed enough already. Originally I was going to bake holiday cookies, but with the USPS being slammed I didn't want to risk these coming way later than they would have been edible. So I freshly baked you some cookies and they're dropped off at the post office within a few hours of leaving the oven (they need to cool or else it'll steam).
😠writing this now while waiting for the cookies to cool, sorry these aren't my best cookie. Next time they definitely will be! They're kinda thin (didn't have enough Kerrygold butter which I usually use for my cookies so it spread different), not uniform in shape (scoop broke), and I ran out of my premium chocolate so some don't have much chocolate 🤣
